This is a great time lapse video of several shots in Los Angeles. The video is made by 599 Productions and they used a Canon 20D camera to do it all. What makes this video special and number 1 in the top ten is the excellent use of music. It just all comes together in an awesome way in this video.

In second place a nature time lapse video. It is a video dome by Nagano, Gunma and Saitama from Japan using a Nikon D3 Fujifilm S5pro. They have a great use of color and show several beautiful clips of nature. The music really ties this together as well.

This is an awsome time lapse video take of a 7 day roadtrip from Los Angeles to New York City in a convertible. I love how they drive with the top down for almost the entire video but also show the parts where it rains. Everything is compressed into 4 minutes and put to some great music.

This time lapse video contains great shots from all over London during sundown and during the night. What is especially striking in this time lapse video is the use of light.

Talk about a grueling time lapse project. This one took from January 11, 2000 to July 31, 2006. During 2356 days Noah took a photo of himself every day. He put all the photo's in one video making sure the eays are all lined-up. The result is a 6 year long transformation of a person. The music is by Carly Comando. This time lapse video is also a technical marvel. Dick Annegarn expresses how fast the world is moving around him as he is getting-up and getting to work. This video is composed of many pictures taken every day in the same spot of the room ansd must have been a dreadful long project to complete!

How are planes made? This video shows in 340 seconds how an Airbus A340 is constructed in Toulouse France. Look at all the effort that goes into making a plane. What makes this video special is the many cool camera angles and of course the behind the scenes look at a great engineering feat.

This video is not so much great because of the technical side of it but more because of what happens in a video. Here is a man named Nicholas White who was having a normal day until he hopped in the elevator after a smoke break. Halfway up, the elevator stopped and stranded...for 41 hours! This is a view into the human psyche and there is no way you can watch this video without wondering what you would do yourself in that situation. The music in this video makes it even more creepy.

This is based upon a picture a day for six years which is number 6 of our top ten. In this Simpsons parody Homer takes one picture a day for 39 years showing his life in 1 minute. The song is Everyday by Carlo Comando.
